Giant Kingston Biscuits

 

OK so you have seen these beauties over on my insta feed. You asked so I deliver!

Here is the recipe I used from Best Recipes

Ingredients:

200 gms butter
3 tbs honey (I actually used Golden Syrup instead)
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup plain flour
3/4 cups coconut
3/4 cups raw sugar
1/4 cups cream (Ran out of cream so I used sweetened condensed milk - think it worked just as well!)
40 gms butter
200 gms cooking chocolate


Method:

STEP 1 Melt together the butter and honey.
STEP 2 Stir in oats, flour, coconut and raw sugar.
STEP 3 Roll teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls and flatten with a fork on a lined baking tray.
STEP 4 Bake at 180C for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 5 Allow to cool.
STEP 6 Filling: In a saucepan, bring cream to the boil and remove from heat immediately.
STEP 7 Stir in butter and chocolate. Mix until smooth.
STEP 8 Cool before using to allow mix to firm up.
STEP 9 Sandwich biscuits together with the filling.

So as the other half had mentioned these really are the best things I have ever cooked. They will be gone in a day! Promise. x
